Short version: Folio collects no data. Your notes never leave your phone.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Toplanan veriler

Hiçbiri. Folio'nun hesabı, girişi, analiz aracı, reklam ağı ve sunucusu yoktur. Yazdığın notlar, eklediğin fotoğraf, çizim ve ses kayıtları yalnızca cihazındaki uygulama alanında saklanır. Geliştirici olarak bu verilere erişimim yoktur.

Data collected

None. Folio has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ad network and no server. Your notes, photos, sketches and voice recordings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. As the developer I have no access to them.

Mikrofon

Yalnızca sesli not kaydederken istenir. Kayıt cihazda kalır.

Bildirimler

Permissions

Photos and camera

Requested only when you add an image to a note or scan a document. Chosen images are copied into the app's own storage.

Microphone

Requested only when you record a voice memo. The recording stays on the device.

Notifications

Requested only when you add a reminder to a note. Reminders are scheduled on the device.

Face ID / passcode

Used to open a locked note or the app. iOS performs the check; the app only learns the result.

Sharing

When you share a note as PDF, Markdown or text, the file is handed to the iOS share sheet and goes only where you send it. With Spotlight enabled, titles and previews of unlocked notes are added to the device's own search index, which never leaves the device.

Children

Folio is rated 4+ and, since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.
